Anguil designs its air emissions solutions to fit individual requirements. From a technological standpoint, oxidation of volatile organic compounds (VOC), hazardous air pollutants (HAP) and odors is achieved either thermally (using heat/flame) or catalytically (using precious/base metal catalysts). Process parameters dictate which approach is best (although ther is a window in which either will work). Once a technology is selected, Anguil equipment configurations are driven largely by plant needs. For tight space and budget constraints, Anguil offers packaged solutions (small skid-mounted oxidizers). For meeting destruction/removal efficiency (DRE) requirements of 99% and higher, special features are added. For corrosive applications, special materials of construction are used. Anguil solutions are designed to yield benefits such as low fuel and power costs, high thermal efficiencies (using either random or structured packing heat exchange media), high removal capabilities, negligible pressure fluctuations, low maintenance, adaptability to varying process conditions, and use of waste energy for generation steam/heat for plant use.
