Position Summary:

This individual is responsible for developing supplier relationships, managing all procurement activities, and coordinating with program management / operations teams. This includes supplier selection and qualification, contract negotiation, PO placement, supplier follow-up, supplier performance monitoring, and analyzing supplier risk to ensure BK Technologies receives goods on time and within budget. Procurement activities apply to direct and indirect materials; raw materials, components, sub-assemblies, and finished goods.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate best supplier terms, conditions, prices, and schedule deliveries using knowledge of budget and schedule requirements.
  • Conduct new supplier identification and selection, support supplier and product qualification, review all proposals to select best suppliers, and negotiate purchase contracts and binding agreements.
  • Work across functions in a cross functional team environment. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and contract requirements.
  • Coordinate product deliveries. Monitor schedules and carries out inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Oversee supplier related activities and monitor supplier performance. Establish and manage supplier relationships. Gather data for supplier capability, capacity, and business health. Perform supplier risk assessments.
  • Communicate performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance. Coordinate with suppliers to resolve performance related issues.
  • Perform procurement activities with supply base; including PO placement, managing releases, and revising orders.
  • Administer contract changes.
  • Identify and troubleshoot contract issues in a timely manner.
  • Enforce contract terms and conditions.
  • Ensure import and export requirements are met.
  • Provide assistance to other team members in procurement activities.
  • Develop optimal procurement solutions to meet customer expectations.
  • Participates in root cause analysis and development of improvement plans and monitors progress. Coordinates process improvements for procurement.

Position Summary:

The Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement Director position; develops, implements and manages quality control and improvement systems designed to ensure continuous production of communication devices and applications (consistent with established standards, customer specifications and production goals). The position supervises the quality assurance team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a high level of internal and external customer service. Investigate (and Lead) customer issues and complaints relating to quality.
  • Supervise workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure high productivity and high technical integrity.
  • Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and to establish quality and reliability expectancy of finished products.
  • Provide technical and statistical expertise to teams.
  • Formulate, document and maintain quality control standards and on-going quality control objectives.

Position Summary:

Design, develop and maintain embedded software for public safety communication products.
Develop software in C/C++ for new product board bring up including low-level drivers, boot
loaders and operating systems. Develop mid to high level software in C/C++, port existing
software to new products and implement public safety communications protocols.

  • Design, develop and maintain real-time software for next generation embedded systems.
  • Debug and improve reliability of real-time embedded systems.
  • Optimize, adapt, and port current software architecture to future product platforms.
  • Maintain existing product line including bug fixes and custom enhancements.

  • Work closely with the hardware team to provide design feedback based on software.

Position Summary:

The Executive Administrative Assistant provides a high level of administrative support to the President of the company and CFO/VP of Finance. The Quality Tester is responsible for the inspection/testing of radios, the documentation of defects, data collection and reporting. The QA Tester will work closely with the C/S Manager to provide accurate reporting, charts, graphs etc. to monitor and improve product quality. Position Summary:
