RELM Wireless Receives Orders Totaling $2.2 Million From Oregon State Agency for Project 25 Mobile Radios and Accessories

WEST MELBOURNE, FL, December 1, 2015 – RELM Wireless Corporation (NYSE MKT: RWC) today announced that it received orders totaling approximately $2.2 million from a new state public safety customer in Oregon.  The orders include KNG-series mobile radios and related accessories that will be deployed throughout the state.

The initial order, which totals approximately $1.4 million, is anticipated to be fulfilled in the fourth quarter 2015.  The remaining orders totaling approximately $0.8 million address the agency’s requirements for 2016 through 2019.  Although these orders are considered firm, they do not specify the precise date for delivery in each year.

RELM President and Chief Executive Officer David Storey commented, “Through the years we have cultivated relationships and built a strong reputation in western states, including California and Washington, with both our D-series and KNG products.  Today, we are very pleased to add the state of Oregon to our growing family of state and local public safety customers.  One of the key objectives in developing the KNG product line was to strengthen our position and drive revenue growth in state and local markets.  These significant orders from Oregon are a solid indication of progress in that regard.”
