Lorenzo Cruger, Jr. is the Senior Vice President, Engineering of BK Technologies. With a career that spans more than four decades in the Land Mobile Radio industry, Lorenzo has contributed to the development of both high-volume, low-mix solutions for commercial markets and low-volume, high-mix systems for government agencies.
At BK Technologies, Lorenzo leads a cross-functional team of Electrical, Mechanical, and Software Engineers, Quality Assurance staff, and Six Sigma professionals. Lorenzo collaborates across all levels of the organization to drive product development, support manufacturing and customer operations, and manage resources efficiently.
Lorenzo began his career at Motorola Solutions, where he contributed to the development of two-way radio technologies used by major corporations such as Walmart, Target, and Cracker Barrel and by the federal government including the Secret Service and U.S. Armed Forces. Lorenzo’s leadership experience extends globally, having directed engineering teams in the U.S., Europe, and Asia, including an expatriate assignment in Penang, Malaysia.
Lorenzo holds more than a dozen U.S. and international patents and publications and earned his BS in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University.
