RELM Wireless Receives Order from Alberta Health Services For Project 25 Portable Radios Totaling $860K
WEST MELBOURNE, FL, November 3, 2015 – RELM Wireless Corporation (NYSE MKT: RWC) today announced that it has received a purchase order totaling approximately $860,000 from Alberta Health Services (AHS) for P25 800MHz portable radios and accessories, which is anticipated to be fulfilled during the fourth quarter of 2015. This order was issued under the contract between RELM and AHS that was announced in June 2015, and brings the combined amount of purchases from AHS in 2015 to approximately $1.2 million.
AHS provides health services throughout Alberta and is the largest provider of health care in Canada. The organization presently deploys a total of approximately 3,000 two-way radios in a range of applications such as hospitals, urgent care centers, psychiatric facilities and emergency vehicles.
