Dr. Branko Avanic is the Chief Technology Officer at BK Technologies. With over 30 years of experience in leading-edge product development within the Land Mobile Radio industry, Branko’s career reflects a deep commitment to innovation and technical excellence in mission-critical communications.
At BK Technologies, Branko oversees all hardware and software engineering activities, including product architecture development and strategic technology planning.
Prior to BK Technologies, Branko held senior roles at Motorola Solutions, including Director and Head Architect of Devices Engineering, where he led global teams in designing next-generation radio systems. Branko also served as President of PhD Research Group Inc, contributing to pioneering work in thermal technologies for the military.
Dr. Avanic served as an Adjunct professor at the University of Miami for over 20 years, where he taught both Undergraduate and Graduate courses in the fields of Electronics, Electromagnetics and Communications.
Dr. Avanic has authored 41 patent publications, and his research has been cited over 700 times, according to Google Scholar. Dr. Avanic earned his PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Miami.
