Carlos Camps is the Vice President, Software Engineering of BK Technologies. With more than 25 years of experience in real-time systems, embedded software, and systems integration, Carlos has helped shape technologies that deliver reliability where it matters most.
At BK Technologies, Carlos drives the company’s software strategy and leads teams building secure, scalable solutions that power mission-critical communications for first responders and government agencies. Carlos’ leadership is instrumental in advancing the company’s technology roadmap and aligning software capabilities with evolving industry standards.
Before joining BK Technologies, Carlos spent over a decade at Motorola Solutions, serving as Director of Engineering, where he guided the development of ruggedized communication devices for public safety, bringing together electrical engineering, embedded software, and product testing to ensure performance in the toughest conditions. Carlos’ leadership in product validation and environmental testing helped set new standards for mission-critical reliability.
Carlos received his BS in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.
